Second daughter of Sir Stanley Spencer, Unity studied at Wimbledon and the Slade and taught art in a number of schools. She has shown her work in group exhibitions over the years and has recently had three solo shows. She has works in private collections in Britain, Europe and the USA, including St John's and Merton College, Oxford and in Kingsthorpe Junior School, Northampton.
